Smooth walls before the finish coat
Hairline cracks and small wall defects should be filled before painting. We repair the surface so the new finish looks clean.
Overview
Small cracks, dents and previous patches become obvious once a new colour goes on. Crack filling and minor wall repair are part of getting a professional result.
We fill suitable defects, sand them back and prime when needed so the repair does not telegraph through the finish.
This service is usually combined with painting or whitewashing. Larger structural issues are outside a standard painting scope and will be flagged if we see them.

Filled defects are less likely to show after painting.
Fresh paint looks better on a repaired surface.
We assess which cracks are suitable for filling as part of painting.
If a crack needs more than filler, we will say so.
Clear scope so you know what to expect before work starts.
